How eras Works

eras is a digital collectibles platform where you can collect limited-edition cards from your favorite creators. Each card has a tiered rarity system (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) and is revealed with a surprise element when opened from packs. You can also buy and sell cards on the marketplace and make offers on cards you want.

Packs cost 5 credits (5 credits = $5.00 USD) and contain 1 card from a creator's chapter. When you open a pack, you experience the thrill of a surprise reveal as the card's rarity and content is unveiled. You never know if you'll get a rare Platinum card or a common Bronze!

Cards come in four tiers: Platinum (2% - ultra rare), Gold (8% - rare), Silver (30% - uncommon), and Bronze (60% - common). Higher rarity cards are more valuable and sought-after in the marketplace.

Simply sign up for an eras account, add credits to your wallet using a credit or debit card, browse chapters from creators you love, and buy your first pack. Open it to reveal your cards, then collect, list on the marketplace, or hold them for exclusive holder rewards.

No! eras uses Credits (1 Credit = $1.00 USD), which you purchase with regular credit or debit cards. There's no blockchain, crypto wallet, or gas fees involved. It's simple and accessible.

A chapter is a collection of 500 cards from a creator, made up of 10 unique assets (images, videos, or moments) with 50 cards issued as each piece. Chapters organize content into discrete sets that collectors can complete.

Creators receive 88.75% of primary pack sales and 5% royalties on secondary marketplace sales. To enable payouts, creators must have an active subscription (10 credits/month), at least one published chapter, and pass identity verification through our payment processor.

Collectors can list their cards for sale on the marketplace, and other collectors can browse and purchase them. Sellers keep 82% of the sale price, while 5% goes to the original creator as a royalty, 10% funds the loyalty rewards program (distributed to cardholders like airline miles), and 3% is a platform fee.

As a thank-you for being part of the community, cardholders receive ongoing loyalty rewards credits from platform activity. 10% of every sale (primary and secondary) funds the rewards program and is distributed to cardholders every two weeks. Tier status (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze) acts like elite loyalty status — higher tiers receive a bigger share. Rewards credits are redeemable on the platform (airline-miles model); rates and program terms may be adjusted, and no specific amount is guaranteed.

Currently, only creators with at least one published chapter can withdraw credits as USD. Collectors use credits to buy packs, purchase cards on the marketplace, boost listings, and subscribe to premium features.
