Getting Started as a Creator on eras
eras is built for creators. Whether you're an artist, photographer, musician, or content creator — you can turn your work into collectible card packs that your audience will love.
How Creator Revenue Works
When collectors buy your card packs, here's how revenue is split:
- 88.75% goes directly to you, the creator
- 10% goes to the Collector Pool (distributed back to collectors bi-weekly)
- 1.25% is the platform fee
On secondary market sales (when collectors resell cards), creators also earn a 5% royalty on every transaction. This means your work continues to generate revenue even after the initial sale.
Creating Your First Chapter
A chapter is a collection of 10 unique assets that become 500 collectible cards. Here's how to get started:
- Sign up and set up your creator profile
- Upload 10 assets — these can be images, videos, short audio clips, or any digital media
- Set your pack price — packs are priced in Credits
- Add a title and description — tell collectors what this chapter is about
- Submit for review — our team reviews chapters before they go live
- Launch — once approved, your chapter goes live on the marketplace
Setting Up Payouts
To withdraw your earnings, you'll need to complete three steps:
- Publish at least one chapter — you need a live, approved chapter
- Verify your identity — complete our identity verification process (powered by Stripe Identity). This is a one-time step to confirm you are who you say you are.
- Maintain an active subscription — an active eras membership is required for payout access
