How Rarity Works on eras
Every chapter on eras contains exactly 500 cards, distributed across four rarity tiers. When you open a pack, each card is randomly assigned a tier based on fixed probabilities. Here's how the system works.
The Four Tiers
Platinum (2%)
Only 10 out of 500 cards in a chapter are Platinum. These are the crown jewels — the cards every collector is chasing. When you pull a Platinum, you know you've got something special.Gold (8%)
40 out of 500 cards are Gold tier. Still rare enough to turn heads and valuable enough to anchor a collection. Gold cards are the sweet spot between scarcity and attainability.Silver (30%)
150 out of 500 cards are Silver. These are solid cards that form the backbone of a good collection. They're common enough that you'll pull them regularly, but meaningful enough to list on the marketplace and collect.Bronze (60%)
300 out of 500 cards are Bronze. The most common tier, but don't underestimate them. Bronze cards complete sets, and a full set of Bronze cards from a popular chapter can be just as satisfying to own.How Distribution Works
Each chapter has 10 unique assets (images, videos, or other media from the creator). Those 10 assets are turned into 50 cards each, for a total of 500 cards. The rarity tier is assigned per-card, not per-asset — so any asset can appear as any tier.
This means a single piece of art might exist as 1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 15 Silver, and 30 Bronze cards. The content is the same, but the tier changes the card's rarity and collectibility.
What Tier Means for You
Rarity tiers affect how cards appear in your collection and on the marketplace. Higher-tier cards have distinct visual treatments — Platinum cards shimmer, Gold cards glow, and each tier has its own border style.
On the secondary marketplace, tier naturally influences perceived value. But ultimately, the worth of any card is determined by the community. A Bronze card from a beloved creator's first-ever chapter might matter more to someone than a Platinum from an unknown drop.
Tips for New Collectors
- Don't sleep on Bronze — completing a full set is deeply satisfying
- Watch for new chapters — early packs have the widest range of pulls available
- Check the marketplace — sometimes you can find the exact card you want at a great price
